Iggy’s is named after its founder, award-winning Sommelier and respected restaurateur Ignatius Chan. Iggy, as his friends call him, had always wanted to open a small, intimate restaurant that serverd exceptional food made with the very best, seasonal ingredients. Iggy´s is the culmination of this dream. The restaurant started as a 28 seat establishment on 1 September 2004 at The Regent Hotel. Guests had the option of sitting at a table or at its dining counter, with the kitchen at work as well as interact directly with Iggy and his team.

Von Februar 1992 bis Februar 2008 war Dieter Müller Küchenchef und Patron im „Gourmet-Restaurant Dieter Müller“ im Schlosshotel Lerbach in Bergisch Gladbach; seit 2005 führte er hier auch eine Kochschule. Im Juli 2005 durfte Dieter Müller als erster deutscher Koch eine Rose auf seinen Namen taufen.

Im Februar 2008 übergab Dieter Müller die Küchenleitung seines Restaurants an Nils Henkel.[1] Im Dezember 2009 verließ Dieter Müller das Schlosshotel Lerbach. Das vormalige „Gourmetrestaurant Dieter Müller“ wurde im Januar 2010 in „Gourmetrestaurant Lerbach“ umbenannt.[2]

Im September 2010 eröffnete Müller das Restaurant „Dieter Müller“ auf dem Kreuzfahrtschiff MS Europa, wo er an 70 Tagen im Jahr vor Ort ist.[3] Zudem gibt er weiterhin Kochkurse.

Müller lebt mit seiner Frau und drei Kindern in Odenthal, einer Nachbargemeinde von Bergisch Gladbach.
