Review:

The Grande Roche Hotel – From the time one enters the elegant front door until one’s reluctant departure, the impression is one of unhurried good taste.

But Grande Roche is much more than just a hotel. The old T-shaped manor house, dating back to 1707, accommodates the award-winning Bosman’s Restaurant where a reservation is a promise of a treat in store. From the spectacular breakfast to the innovative lunch and dinner, which is the highlight of the day, executive chef Jochen Riedel and his team demonstrate their art. Imaginative combinations of flavours and textures of quality ingredients are perfectly prepared and presented to make up a culinary experience of the highest order.

The stylish Bistro Allegro that adjoins the patio and pool area offers relaxed and informal dining. The well-stocked cellar with its rare wines and vintage champagnes – is a delight to guests, who are assisted in their choice by the Head Sommelier and his team who also conduct private wine tastings.   The recently renovated manor house at Grande Roche is the heart of the hotel and home to the award-winning Bosman’s Restaurant. A fusion of imaginative and innovative epicurean delights will tantalize the most discerning of palates. Bosman’s is a 70-seater restaurant with a terrace and patio seating 60 in fine weather. It is open seven days a week. For groups of eight or more, the Banqueting department will help to choose a menu to suit the guest and the occasion. Dress code for the restaurant is smart – no “Jacket & Tie” requirement. There is wheelchair access throughout as well as designated parking bays.
